Owl Quest was founded by Kirsten Uecker. Kirsten saw a need for more flexible tutoring options in Cypress, Texas and online. Owl Quest offers tutoring for kids with a wide range of needs. Kirsten was a special education teacher in Fort Worth ISD and Cypress Fairbanks ISD, so she has worked with many students with disabilities like Autism, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, as well as ADD and ADHD. As a former Gifted and Talented student, she also realizes that GT students have their own special needs to make sure they are getting the enrichment and attention they need.
Kirsten grew up in Fort Worth, Texas where she studied diligently to become the valedictorian of Arlington Heights High School in 2004. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a 4.0 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, one of the oldest and most prestigious honor societies in the United States. After she graduated, she earned her teaching certificate in the TMATE program from Tarleton State University. She taught 1st-5th graders in life skills classrooms in Fort Worth and Cypress Fairbanks ISD. She tutors clients in the Cypress, TX area and loves helping students reach and exceed their goals.
